Join us this Sunday, November 14, at Johnny's West Adams for an afternoon of great food, sound selection by DJ Rampage Global, and art + apparel vendors. We think you’ll love the vibe, too….and we hear the sandwiches at Johnny’s are unforgettable!

The Fifteen Percent Pledge

ISM Fashion House featured on The Fifteen Percent Pledge. Black owned business, shop small, shop black, support black business.

We’re proud to be featured by The Fifteen Percent Pledge. The Fifteen Percent Pledge is an organization that challenges businesses to dedicate 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned brands, to reflect the 15% of the U.S. population made up by Black people.

From their website:

“The Fifteen Percent Pledge is a call to action for major retailers and corporations to join us in creating sustainable and supportive ecosystems for Black-owned businesses to succeed. We work with companies to comprehensively re-evaluate their org structures, ways of working, funding, and resourcing in order to implement meaningful change and create greater equity for Black businesses.”

We're proud to share that our founder, Brennan, was featured in Shoutout LA, a Los Angeles based publication from the Voyage Group of Magazines. Shoutout LA asks contributors and interviewees questions designed to spark meaningful conversations at the heart of community building, a passion also shared by us here at ISM.

Read the full interview below to learn about the origins of ISM Fashion House, the challenges and transitions that brought us to where we are on this journey, and our vision for the brand and community we’re building.

“My goal for ISM is that the pieces I create might ultimately inspire those who wear them to embrace their unique identities. I’ve always felt that eyewear, more than any other accessory, represents an opportunity for the wearer to make a statement to the world around them. For me, it carries a unique ability to connect us to those we encounter that is unlike any other form of expression. I’ve got so much more in store, so I hope you stay tuned and thanks for being here.” —Brennan Lawson

We had a great time participating at the Artists & Fleas pop-up market in Venice on Labor Day Weekend. We will definitely be back! Stay tuned for future dates, and we’ll keep you posted.

We’re excited to share that you can now try on and purchase the Ile de France collection at Topanga Living Cafe (TLC), in Topanga Canyon, CA. We love this local treasure for it’s delicious food and welcoming ambience. TLC is a staple for many, and on any given day the place is usually bustling with people working from their laptops or simply enjoying the top-notch coffee and treats.

Swing by the cafe any day from 8am-3pm, 4pm on the weekends, and try on a pair of ISM, and receive a free eyeglass chain with purchase.

See you at TLC!

ISM was featured in this month’s cover story for Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam! We’re proud to see friend and model Sarai Rollins rocking her Mont Saint Michel frames in the spread.

Sarai wears Mont Saint Michel with grey lens + bronze frame, paired with a bronze eyeglass chain (free with purchase for a limited time)
